Élise’s Life Celebration Session

Following the departure of our friend Élise Hennebelle née Le Duigou, we will have a session in her memory at the Arus na nGael (45 Dominic st) on Tuesday 21st of January from 8.30pm.

Suite au départ de notre amie Élise Hennebelle née Le Duigou, une session en sa mémoire aura lieu au Arus na nGael (45 Dominic st) le Mardi 21 Janvier à partir de 20h30.

Kenavo Élise


We are sorry to announce that one dear friend, Elise Hennebelle née Le Duigou, suddenly departed, she has been cheering us up with her smile and her fiddle playing for many years in Galway and elsewhere in Ireland. We shall miss her.
The funeral will be held this Friday 13th of December at Le Faouet in Brittany from 11.00 am.
We will have a session in her memory in Galway some day.
Our thoughts go to her family.

Nous sommes désolés de voir notre amie Élise Hennebelle née Le Duigou nous quitter si vite, elle nous avait réjouis avec son sourire et sa musique au violon durant de nombreuses années sur Galway et ailleurs en Irlande. Elle va nous manquer.
La cérémonie aura lieu ce Vendredi 13 Décembre au Faouet en Bretagne à partir de 11h00.
Nous aurons une session en sa mémoire à Galway un jour prochain.
Nos pensées vont à sa famille.

Crepe / Pancake Tuesday in Galway

We’ll have this year again a Breton evening on Tuesday 12th of February for Pancake Tuesday with a full Breton crepe meal in Galway with live Breton music performed by Ar Maen Du.

The great Gilles Servat, singer, songwriter, author, poet, and one of the leaders of the Breton folk movement for over thirty years will come to Ireland to share some of his talent:
